Dr Traci Coventry is a leading Clinical Psychologist and Director of Coventry Health PL.
She specializes in relationship and child and family psychology and equestrian psychological therapy, and has been treating clients for 2 decades.
In 2011 she established and opened “Epona Brae”, an equine psychological therapy centre in the Dandenong ranges fringe. Dr Traci was the first Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Australia to integrate Equine Assisted Therapy in her practice.
Dr Traci’s media work has involved expert contributions to Magazines including Dolly, Madison, Huffington Post, The Sydney Morning Herald and AustralianWomen’s Health. For almost 10 years she was a member of the expert panel for Women’s Health Magazine Australia, a leading Australian magazine where she wrote a regular Q&A column on relationships. She resigned from this role in 2015 to focus on her equine work and personal writing projects.
In 2015, she was also engaged as regular guest expert for the Marianne Frank show on ContactTalk Radio. Issues covered in podcasts and on air include anxiety, sex and relationships, and equine and animal assisted therapy.
Dr Traci continues to be regularly sought after for interviews on psychological issues, and is a regular speaker at conferences on child psychology, most recently presenting at the Equine Psychotherapy Institute 2016 conference.
Dr Traci is also currently completing work on a series of children’s psychology self help books for anxiety, depression, OCD etc…with animals as the main characters. In her spare time she rides and trains her dressage horses.
